Is their ATP course approved by the VA.
Your best source of information is, believe it or not, the Veteran Affairs department - not a representative of the school - they'll tell you just about anything, all while filing the paperwork to some made-up office in Jacksonville or wherever just to say "Oh yeah, we filed the forms. . .you'll get your money."
As far as I understand, ATP (the school) is only approved for certain training programs (141, specific locations, specific courses, etc.), and if I'm not mistaken, their ATP 2-day is conducted under Part 61, thus not eligible for VA education fund disbursement - at least directly.
Now, say you take two semesters of college courses at the full time rate, yet your tuition and books for those two semesters costs significantly less than the money you're receiving over a period of four or five months. You could then use the excess funds to pay for your ATP, through whoever.
