Spent some time at the Iwo Jima Memorial last night. Forgot about the sun setting so early now but I think I took advantage of it fairly well.

DCA was doing approaches from the north too so I got in a few River Visuals in the background which I think turned out kind of cool during the night time. Who knew Northwest had 757s with winglets too?

Here are some of the better ones I managed to create.

Enjoy!

Unrelated, but I should have looked you up when I was in DC for a day. I did nothing at the hotel for six hours. I was right by the airport to. Oh, well, next time:)

Nothing huh? For six whole hours? I think I'll pass on that kind of fun. Just kidding :)

I am here for another week or so basically on vacation now until we make the move to SoCal. Just trying to take in some of the sights... It is really cool to be able to see some of this stuff here in DC. Tons to do and I will always want to come back and visit. Can't say I would ever want to live here again but visiting is awesome!

Now if only they allowed 172s into DCA, then it would be cool!

Yeah, six hours in a hotel wasn't that fun actually. I ended up going to CVS and buying those wintogreen lifesavers. mmmmmm.

Have fun in SoCal and good luck.

Those are some very very nice photos. Ever thought of selling any of your shots?

If I didn't sell some every now and then I couldn't rationalize spending that much money on a camera and stuff. I've been selling them for a while... Mostly just the airplane photos though. Companies, magazines, airlines and pilots are usually the buyers. Alot just buy a high res photo for one time use though.

For 8x10s I usually do $20 but if your email address has the word "Captain" in it then I charge $25 ;)

I can do larger on many photos but I have found 8x10 seems to be the most requested.

Eventually I plan on getting my own site and actually turning this into a business if it stays fun for me.

haha, captain eh? that'll be about a decade from now at the pace im going.

but very cool. . . you have some pretty good shots. you may see a pm from me in a couple weeks. . . christmas is coming up.
