US Airways flights

Im going to be flying US Airways next week to Jamaica with a connection in PHL. Just wondering if they play movies/tv and if it is on a PTV or drop down tv

The A319's and A320's I've been on have drop down screens for the safety video, but the only IFE I ever saw was on a 737 flying Pittsburgh to Denver. The 737 had CRTs hanging from the ceiling every few rows. So to answer your question... I dunno. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I know they're taking the video screens off of the 737s. I haven't seen one in a couple of months now. Its all manual safety demos. The Airbi, 757 and 767 all have video systems. I imagine on a flight to the caribbean from PHL, they would have a movie, but you can never tell. In an effort to cut costs, they may have taken it away on all but Transcon and International (Overseas) flights.

If you're on a 737, definately no movie. Every other aircraft, its hard to tell. You might want to call Airways and ask, though.
