We’re working on an experimental Discord-XenForo integration which should leverage each platforms strengths into essentially ‘one stop shopping’ from whatever platform you prefer. It’s in the super early phases of exploration.
Also, I’m working with a software engineer on a plug-in that will integrate with Zoom so instead of having to log in and out to see if anyone is on, it’ll create a forum “Notice” that there is an active chat, show who is hosting (Well, us) and list which users are active in it for the weekend “Zoom Happy Hour” and allow JC’ers to set up their own hosted, but administrator-approved chats.
When it comes to Profiles, we still have the database from the previous CMS that drove non-forum content, but it’s severely outdated and needs to be migrated into a more modern CMS like Wordpress and then integrated into the community. I might just bring back the entirety of the non-forum site, but the information is “dusty”.
