Sad to say it but that is probably a hull loss.

Anyone know what happened yet. I was going it LGA when it happened. It screwed up the airspace a bit.

It's a -200. I'm not an A&P, but it's a 22 year old airframe and you can see the ripples in the skin and the gaps where the panels are separating. I'd be shocked if that's economically repairable.
It’s pretty crazy how wrinkled and wavy the skin is on the -200s. I remember the first time I looked at one, I thought it went through some serious event beforehand. The mechanic just laughed and said they’re all like that (and they certainly are!).

Since 757s are getting rare and nothing really replaces them for what they’re good at, my guess “economically repairable” has a new meaning these days.
