United Livery?

My vote would have been for the current United livery. I even liked the grey and blue livery but the continental one is kinda bland in my oppinion.

The Continental paint scheme is bad enough as it is, now it's got United written on it with a lowercase 'u.'

They need to make a completely new paint scheme like Delta did.

I don't much care for the livery, but I dig the merged logos!

Who cares? It's not like you can see the paint job from the cockpit.

Thanks Mr. Obvious ;)

Really though, I am looking at this from a customer/marketing point of view. Sure, I focused on livery in my initial post but branding is key especially with the young demographic that will make up so many of our customers. From airplane colors to how nifty the website looks to uniforms to the print on the napkins it all does matter at the end of the day. If advertising/branding didn't work at all then this conversation wouldn't take place.

I love Continental's livery and branding. It's fresh and clean. Though I like the globe design they use for COPA's tail better.

Nice! UAL should just submit a bid to 99designs and get it done for like $300 ;)

FWIW, yea, I do hate the "new" United livery!

Though it did look very classy on Continental!

It's a newly merged company, it's time for a new image, re-branding and marketing are so very important!

Yes. The idea is to show United customers that the airline will be different and to show Continental customers that it won't.

The livery seems off balance to me. Its kind of half assed looking. United seems too small. I would suggest they stretch it out a little and widen it to the curvature of the airplane. I kind of like the CAL logo. Perhaps they could add a little color? :D
