I'm here at LAX 4 hours prior to the flight leaving to LHR. I have a question about United's new res system. The agents at the ticket counter couldn't list me as OMC, the agents at customer service couldn't list me, and now they think that they can't list me until at least 2 hours prior to the flight at the gate of departure. They just aren't as familiar with the new OMC listing process (they said it's pretty lengthy). Before the new res system was implemented they could list me OMC for international a few hours prior with no problems. I just want to make sure I'm doing this right as I thought I had to be "checked in" at least 2 hours prior to departure to international destinations... but maybe that's changed. I'm an offline jumpseater with international jumpseat agreement with UAL.
