I'd like to think that, too. Then I realize that I changed careers and need to buy groceries and insurance first.

I still say anybody who puts something fragile in their checked luggage is an idiot. Most airlines flat out tell you they're not responsible for damage too.

Same here. No way could I afford to replace my Martin (and it's only a DR, one of the "entry-level" Martins) with the pittance I make now.
 
I used to enjoy going into guitar center to play with the martins. Then I stopped going in there because I realized it was just a store to drag you teenage girlfriend to so you could impress her with your music skills.

That and their commercials really piss me off

"blah blah blah GEAR"
"GEAR blah blah blah GEAR"
"GEAR GEAR blah blah blah"
"<deep and throaty> GEAR"

Good lord...enough anbout gear already...find a new word.
