United and Yoga Pants

I saw that. Twitter went off! Lol.... I don't think the person will lose their privileges since it wasn't them acting up. Rather, it's the general public.

It's a nice demonstration of how a corporation's social media interaction should not be.

Twitter yoga pants going viral is making as much of a mountain out of as little as a molehill as you can get. (it's 2017, nobody cares if a pass rider is wearing yoga pants)

I also think what really set the twitterverse off was the fact that the girls were young.

To be fair, given the amount of people nonreving with their company ID hanging off their neck, I can assume most employees have never read the rules themselves let alone discussed them with their teenage passriders.

How is this an issue? I was told to wear mine when JS or NR flying.

Nope, the Employee's are held accountable for anyone non-rev'ing under their name/ employee number.

I think you missed my point. The backlash isn't coming from those non-revving. It's coming from the general public. If they were denied and didn't make a scene, that's not their fault.

Don't worry Chrissy Teigan and Patricia Arquette diverted their attention away from Don Trump long enough to come to the girls rescue on twitter-verse.

The gist? This policy is an attack on womanhood!

It comes down to United and if they want to take action. Rules were broken, period.

As an employee, it is your responsibility to make sure that any pass rider that is traveling under your name/ employee number knows and follows the rules as they are outlined in the employee travel guide that i'm sure every airline has and publishes to their employees.

Even though they didn't start the commotion, they are still the root cause of this PR issue and therefore the employee COULD be subject to disciplinary action against their benefits.
