United 747\'s

I was wondering if anyone has a pic or has seen a United 747 in the new paint scheme. I like how the others look, I think the 74 will look awsome.

Thanks

Probably someone on jetphotos.net or airliners.net.

Re: United 747\'s

I looked on airliners.net. But forgot what that other big site was. Thanks Doug, I'll look there.

Re: United 747\'s

How long are United's 747s going to be around? I sure see a lot of 747s with United tails popping up at Pinal....

Re: United 747\'s

I think a 777 was posted before.

I sure hope the 747 stays around at Ual. They're only 1 of 2 U.S. airlines that operate them (NWA). Plus they just look so cool in United colors. I think theyll look sweet in the new colors.

I heard that the first UAL B744 in new colors in scheduled to be painted later this year (Oct/Nov).

UPS has a fleet of B747's or are you not considered an airline around here unless you fill it with self loading freight?

What about Polar, Atlas, Evergreen, Katilla (if they are still in business), US Airforce that is all I can come up with.

Re: United 747\'s

The 747 Aircraft Has Not Been Repainted Yet, The United 777 Are Beginning To Be Painted I Believe And The 747 Is Scheduled For Later This Year.

Re: United 747\'s

Yeah, I ment to say passenger airline. United and Northwest are the only two I can think of.

Re: United 747\'s

At this point UAL has only repainted some of their 737 and 777 aircraft in the new livery. The 747 is scheduled for fall 2004 I believe.

Re: United 747\'s

boy real smart move I tell ya, the airline is losing millions of dollars a day yet they can "find" the money to put new paint on these planes.

Re: United 747\'s

When a aircraft goes in for its D-Check, all the paint is stripped anyways, so they are actually saving money by not using so much paint.

Re: United 747\'s

From MS FlightSim this is what it will most likely look like:
