United 2025

Pilots and FA's get taxed where they live, not where they are based. In theory they are earning income over multiple state. It'd be a royal PITA to do taxes for all of those. Also, I believe truck drivers and train engineers/conductors fall in that same category

Would this be something ADF could advocate for?

Not sure what they could do. You could write your federal representatives in Congress.
Since this would only affect about 10 percent of all 121 dispatchers, (no data to back that up), I seriously doubt that Congress would change the tax laws for such a small number of people

Hey all. I just got notified that I’m moving to the next phase of the process. Some kind of video interview where you answer questions. Any one have any insight into how this works? Thanks!
Self recorded answers to mostly HR type questions. You should have unlimited time between each question, but only allowed 3 recorded takes before your final submission.

If you did the video interview before, are you required to do it again?

Anyone know if they will have postings for each class or if they will use the recent posting to create a pool for the rest of the year?
I would love to know this as well. I could see them pulling for at least the first 2 classes from the same application window, but wondering if they’ll re-open for December.

Seeing someone else posted in here, but I got my video interview about an hour ago. Does anyone know if the video questions are disqualifiers or just an HR formality

Not totally sure your question, but if you're asking if everybody makes it past the video interview stage, the answer is no.
