Trying to find my first dispatch job, right now I see Allegiant, PSA, and Republic hiring. Anyone working at different regional or ULCC, could you let me know when your company plans to hire next if you know? Thanks!!

It falls under the purview of dispatch, so yes. You can be a coordinator full time or just hold the qual while staying on the dispatch side of the office.

I’ve got a suspicion that coordinator was listed in the posting as some of this class might be junior manned into the role after comping out of dispatch. The role was filled primarily with high time dispatchers that are likely looking to retire and it’s not a job/schedule many want to deal with.
