UAV flies for 56 hours with 20 pound payload

IMO aerial photography as we know it will be defunct. This 3D imagine can be created by a $400 quad autonomously by a free application called Drone Deploy. It takes around 5-10 mins to fly the pattern then a few hours of uploading to stich together.

That sounds likely. We need to determine how multi-rotors effect Juice dispertion ratios.
Agreed. Certainly a lot of work ahead before it's 100% operational. Perhaps a mixture adjustment or changing the mechanical methods by which the nozzles function.

Dunno, I'm but a lowly pilot.

Here is one that was then 3D printed.

Obviously resolution needs to get better but it's incredible the things that are possible that weren't even thought of 5 years ago.

I'm working on a multirotor that will lift me hopefully. So if it can lift 160lbs of Av8tr1 it should be able to lift a significant amount of our secret squirrel juice. Although there is a significant amount of hotair included in the Av8tr1 formula.

Me too. I think its a combination of payloads and regulations that have been limiting so far.
Well considering a drone needs to be able to carry a payload 30 times what this plane carried... they have a long way to go before you will see a wide spread use of them.

For some survey operations sure. I do a very niche agro survey using mutliple cameras and can cover upwards of 200-300 fields in a given day, over 3 states, just a tick over 1,000 nm, Have fun getting that traction with a UAV.

Meh... looks like a cooling fan assembly for an 06 jaguar X-Type

Pretty sure that's a prison in upstate NY. I think... has a layout for a prison.
