A zombie movie shoot's grand finale twisted into a real-life horror film when two people were killed after a plane crashed in the north Florida set.

Authorities say the single-engine plane plunged nose-first in the Summerfield airfield Sunday night, killing the pilot and his passenger who were both involved in the science-fiction thriller identified online and by local media as "What Tomorrow Brings."

This is what happens when you hire amateurs. Photo shoots are the ultimate distraction. I've done a lot of this sort of thing with other potentially dangerous machines and have seen what happens when the director/producer hires a friend in order to save a few bucks.

Happened to me six months ago.

"Come on man, just use so-and-so's plane and film us from a few feet away."
"No."
"Why?"
"The airspeed profiles are too different. I have no formation training. I have never done an air to air shoot. So-and-so would be pissed to find out we were using their airplane for that."
"So?"
