So claims Bombardier.

Anyway, they're sponsoring a webcast on it, and I just got this in my email box, so I figured I'd pass it along. And no, I can't make the URL smaller, just click on the damn thing.

I love them but the manufacturers are going to have to help the airlines convince customers that they are as safe and comfortable. There really is a stigma associated with props amongst the general public.

Caribbean Star are taking delivery of another new Q300 in May, and then 2 more after that the following months. And as our leases come up in the next 2 years we will slowly replace our older DHC8-100/300s with Q300's. They are great A/C, with tons of back-ups to back-ups. We are hoping to get jets for some of our longer routes, but they would have trouble taking off out of an island like St. Vincent which is 4600' with a 10-20kt "tailwind" and the Dash does a fine job.
