TRT, HCG and Class 1 medical

Is Testosterone Replacement Therapy, along with HCG allowed for a Class 1 FAA medical?

As long as the doses are reasonable replacement doses. There should be blood levels of the testosterone to document it is not too high.

Does HCG show up in tests? I'm not very familiar with this..
Is HCG necessary or recommended, typically along with TRT?

It can show up in a urine test. It is not recommended with TRT

Why is it not recommended with TRT? The Doc that I used (anti aging guy) said that the HCG helps reduce shrinkage of the testes. I'm not sure I'm getting the best advice.. FWIW, I haven't started TRT or HCG yet.

It is not the accepted standard of care backed by scientific research. If HGG worked to prevent aging, I would be taking it and I am not.
