It would probably just be easier to remember the runway numbers. Since each runway only has 2 numbers, and they're they never change....

(ok ok, maybe polar north could move around a little bit over your lifetime, and it might just put it over the top, but still.)

18. That's the only number that matters. All runways are 180 degrees from the other. Simple.

And sometimes they use roman numerals, but usually only with runway 10 :crazy:

If you see the roman numeral for 10 on a runway, you probably shouldn't land there. :yup:

Yes and most of the time this works. but go into BOS on one of the GPS approaches and you better know your numbers along with your present heading. Or you will find yourself going around (Pushing the GO sticks forward) quick like and in a hurry!!
