It's called the periodic springs. water is supposed to come out only every 15 or so minutes. There was just a lot of water coming out all the time.

My dream job - factory production test pilot for Aviat. Just really a kick ass job I would think.

We chatted with the main test pilot and that's what he said. Asked if they were hiring and he said it was too sweet of a gig to give up. Perks like flying the above Pitts to Oshkosh this year.

EVERY once in a while they need one. Personally I want to retire early and have that as a second job...up to an including undercutting or or even PFJ'ing for the job.

I flew a brand new one a couple times this summer. It made me re fall in love with aviation. I loved it, couldn't convince the partner to purchase it with me and the deal fell apart.

At my last job working line service one of our base customers had a huskey.
Gorgeous aircraft. Not many planes make line techs stop and watch but every time he went out we would all stop and watch the takeoff and climb out.
I kept saying I would ask him for a ride next time I saw him, until there was no next time and now I am on the other side of the country.

Awesome pics all around. Looks like a couple good trips, or one awesome trip.

And that first one is simply classic.

Sure looks cool until, of course, you have an off-airport landing and need SAR! :)

The guy who ended up with my Grandpa's cabin Waco immediately had it repainted a bright (but very unattractive) yellow. All of his classic airplanes are this color (and he owns a number of them).
