Timmy's baaack...

Weird, it doesn't say anything about his stint at American Eagle.

2nd paragraph

his first job assignment as a Saab 340 pilot with American Eagle in Los Angeles. It was there that he finished his degree in Aviation Management with Utah Valley College. Tim transitioned to the Embraer-145 aircraft in 2006 when he returned to New York, where he flew until 2010

Is Timmay going to be conducting a job search again soon?

The lesson to be learned is never misrepresent yourself. @Hacker15e let the chips fall where they may and the community did the rest.

He can go on outside of the cockpit where the highest levels of integrity are necessary to maintain safety of flight.

I have yet to see where he has publicly, considering he so publicly claimed a whole bunch of falsehoods, apologize or show any remorse for his actions. He needs to hold himself accountable before he thinks his professional peers will give him a pass.

Time to let it go. He's been exposed for what he is (and hopefully, was......maybe he's changed). Everyone needs to go on with life. He will go on with his.

So, you're saying we should welcome Tomcatter and AirAlgiere back?

Personally, I approve of this. It would definitely perk things up around here. There is too much mind numbing arguing going on about whether the pfeltzer valve rotates left or right.

It's more than a week old, therefor it is ancient history

THIS.

Ya'll need to be friends. Where is the love...?

I never said that. I'm saying what's done is done. The war was won, but the war is also over. And here's why:

The last thing people like this need is attention. Even negative attention. Because it shows to them that they matter somehow for what they've done or are doing. And that's not something they should be able to thrive off of. They want to simply live their life and do their thing, fine. Whatever. And just as a possibility, if they've changed for the better inside, then so be it and good for them. It's their burden to bear for what they were rightfully called out on.

Second, for some people who see fit to chase these people around in their everyday life on the internet, social media and the like, simply to ridicule them....in addition to the above paragraph....you now potentially turn the guy into claiming some victim-type status from the perception of having stalkers coming after him and bullying him around. That is additional attention they don't deserve, and it too opens up potential legal issues as well. Especially going after them when it comes to anything unrelated to the previous lies told (their new employment, them going on with life, etc), and that again turns them into the victim.

That said regading the war being over, IF they continue on or start up again with false claims or the previous crap they were doing, then thats them starting a battle. And it's a free fire zone on that. However barring that, they have to live with the stigma, and it's better that they deal with the unknown: not being aware of who knows and who doesn't know; rather than them being able to see attention and know where its coming from, positive or negative.

They made their bed. They have to lay down in it. I simply say, let them do so, and go on with life. Our part in it was won, and over.

Don't get me wrong......I too would love to read more than All ALPA, All the time, here on JC, and the mind-numbing topics that generates. But we can do better than this too.

I never said that.

Yeah, I was trying to be tongue in cheek, but there really isn't a smiley for that and my phone sucks for posting. I really do agree with you on the war thing, I just miss the creativity that went into the "Bust on AirAlgiere" thread. WacoFan was awesome with his crudely photoshopped pictures. THAT is the JC that we knew and loved!

I agree. Finding guys like TomCatter and Air Algerie was interesting and took creativity and work, made easy by information they were providing that could easily be confirmed or not.....and in Air Algerie's case, by the actual photographer of the "around the world" sailing photos he was taking, appearing on here from out of nowhere and calling him out! That was a crazy turn of events indeed! Agree....the JC we all knew and loved back then!

Some of the extremely militant guys on the Martins thing, the ones that seemingly want to hunt him down and have a public execution of the guy in the town square these days.......LONG after he was outed and has to live with the situation in my above quote; those guys remind me of this movie scene. (substitute subject content as appropriate, for the Martins deal) :)

This can also apply to any number of other things, like GoJets, etc. :)
