Time-Building in the Long Island area

So after a long flying drought, i've recently been getting back up in the air with my friend to time build; while I simultaneously finish my instrument rating. Although this is great that I am getting back into flying, it has been at the rate of once or twice a week and does not help me get to the 1500 hour mark fast. My question to any of you Long Island pilots out there is if anyone would be willing to allow me to be their safety pilot, or just needs another pilot in the cockpit to work the radios as well as any other flight duty in exchange for some loggable flight time. Feel free to message me here or send me a private message. Thanks !

Phil,

You will have the most opportunities by joining the Downwind pilot club and/or the mid-island pilots club. Just go to the meetings, introduce yourself and let the doors of opportunity open themselves to you.

Thank you for the valuable tip!
