I'm thinking of staying at UND next summer and graduating at the end of the summer session. Are fewer credits normally taken during the summer session? I'll probably be taking 20 credits this spring and then I'll have 15 or 16 credits left to take. Is that a doable amount during the summer? I'm doing the ATC program so I don't have any flight courses to worry about.

For whoever has stayed for the summers, how many credits have you taken?

In my opinion, summer classes are easier. Things are a little more laid back in most classes. Fifteen credits without a flight lab would be way doable

The only bad thing about staying in the summers is paying the extra tuition than if you were to take a heavier workload in a regular semester (e.g. anything over 12 credits is the same tuition). I ended up spending a lot more than needed for that reason alone.

I am looking into starting as a freshman in the summer. I am looking to take the private pilot course. What other classes would you all recommend and how many? I think nine credits is considered full time. Also, aviation 102 seems to start three weeks before the other classes, is this right? How many aviation students usually start in the summer?

Nothing wrong with being a college drop out....

Are you at UND right now?
