A friend sent this to me the other day, it was hilarious but at the same time the Dad showed great patience considering how awful of a driver his son was. Reminds me of some of the stories I’ve heard from CFI’s

I tried that once, but I decided that I really liked my car and didn’t want to subject the clutch to so much abuse.

I just tought my wife (at age 40) to drive. We stuck with an automatic, but thats pretty much what my last 6 months were like.

I will say that being a CFI helped me teach my son to drive. The basic principles of FOI are the same.

Older siblings (but close-in age so they did the same things) who drove, lived in LA (at ucla), NYC, and SF, and then back in Hawaii she just took the bus everywhere or relied on friends (and me).

I tried to teach my wife to drive my car, she has no interest in getting better. She can do basic things, but when I was out of town and we had to move my car she had to have her dad come and park it in the garage again.

My clutch is probably a lot better off
