The TSA's latest brilliant idea

It's just stupid. On a sorta related topic, I was listening to "trucker radio" on XM today and they were discussing the 15 dozen different credentials drivers have to carry. Federal, state, local, on and on and on. Funny, all the background investigations are done the SAME way, but yet EVERY stupid LE department wants in. All in the name of security, huh? Total BS.

The TSA are hardworking professionals with no margin for error. Which is why so many passengers traveling to YYJ, YVR, YYC, or YEG from SFO make it through with expired passports, or sometimes, none at all.

yup, got my badge yesterday after two trips to the airport admin office, a trip to the atm (cash only please), and a 2 hour wait in line because of the march 1st deadline (they didnt clear me, or the other half of the ga population at our airport, until yesterday). fun.

I'm glad they finally changed their uniforms though. I hated the idea of TSA people getting mistaken for pilots.

Really????? REALLY????

How are they gonna sort out all the guys with badges from OTHER airports, who FLEW to another airline-served airport??

Or the guy with a plane on his own private strip who decides to fly into LAX, or whatever. That's legal too.

Wow, just wow. Glad I got a decent tax return this year, else I'd be PISSED. ;)

Wow, I'm sure glad to see their putting my hard earn tax dollars to work against me! I hope the new admin will put some serious oversight over the TSA. It's like leaving Barney Fife alone by himself to mind Mayberry....his ego gets too over inflated without Andy's supervision.

Holy crap I just made an comaparison of the TSA to Barney Fife! I definitely need to go to bed!:panic:

hahaha one of the two airports they have already implemented that at is BNA here in Nashville. They are even searching cars if you want to drive out on the ramp. I mean EVERYTHING. Eff the TSA!!

That nifty gold badge they have now solves that...

You should see all the drama those badges have already caused in the law enforcement world. *Rumor* has it that several have already been taken in on impersonating an officer. :banghead:
