Never really told anyone this because I don't like to share it and because I do not have all of the information regarding it. My dad flew 86's in Korea, what a bird!
He doesn't talk about it at all and no longer has any of the info on it or pictures. I figure something must have happend so I don't pry!

CRJ-200 versus Embraer 145... Which has air superiority?
They tried to make that show once, but the judges fell asleep. The end result was that it was too close, and boring to call.

I betchya the CRJ is ok if you stay down low and wait for the lucky shot. But if the Embraer 145 catches a CRJ in the 20's, it's game over because of the climb rate!

My dad served in Korea as well and he never said a peep about it other than when they almost shot their pet cat walking in the snow near one of the machine gun nests one night.

He told me a few stories years ago that were quite interesting! Never really understood the silent treatment about it then. I do now! Can not imagine what he (they) saw. I am sure talking about it only brings back the worst of the memories though.
