FLAPS FAIL
I wish! Both our airplanes have had this issue.Never had so much as a flaps halfspeed.
The APU even worked most of the time.
It was my bread and butter and I'll not hear a bad word about it.

What year did you start flying the 200? Once most companies lowered the extention speeds, the problems decreased. Prior to that though it was an almost daily occurrence in a 50 plane fleet.
2015. I'm sure it was all sorted by then.
What were the speeds changed to?Yeah. I think the speeds changed in 2008 and 2009.

Vfo8 = Vfo20 = 200 KIAS as far as the Mormons were concerned.I don't remember. It was 4 airplanes and 15 years ago. I vaguely remember a 210 in there somewhere. They decreased the flaps 8 and 20 speeds by about 10 or 15 knots I think.
On the 604 we have a Vfe of 231 for 20°, 197 for 30°, and 189 for 45°. We try to add the 20° at 200 but we keep getting flap fails. Our mechanics have gone through many parts and tests to find the culprit.Vfo8 = Vfo20 = 200 KIAS as far as the Mormons were concerned.
Don't ask how I remember that.
