Sad face.......my old man was a USN P-2 driver when he was on active duty. I know he cross checked the Missoula birds with his logbook a number of years ago, and had flown several of them 40-50 years prior. Sounds like he needs to make a visit sometime soon to see them for the last time.

They have four on the Sawmill fire right now, and five parked in ALM.

Most interesting is the plane on the right that hasn't been converted for water bombing. Sadly it's a bird house.

Still has turrets on the nose and tail.

This one is also in poor shape.

Serial Number: 128382

Other Aircraft are parked and ready.

Serial numbers: 131424, 140443 and 145906.
