The Hat without the Blazer

It certainly does look a bit goofy having one person with a hat on their head, and the other having it jammed into the outside pocket of their suitcase.

Chief pilot: "Why is your hat shoved in the pocket of your bag?"
Pilot: "Because it's too small for my head."
Chief pilot: "Well come on, let's go get you one that fits."
Pilot: "If you do that, then it won't fit in my bag!"

You've a funny-shaped head anyway.

But if you are wearing a hat and the guy you are flying with isn't that looks pretty unprofessional on that group. Don't you think?

Of course.

But by definition a uniform should be standard. Not some folks wearing a hat and some not.
I'm all for mandating coat (one coat, the blazer) and hat, year round, coat possibly optional due to climate/weather.

Also, if your sunglasses dangle from your uniform, you're doing it wrong.
