Does anybody knows the cause of the accident that killed Buddy Holly and Richie Vallens soooooooooo many years ago? I heard they chartered at the last moment from some small outfit and the WX was bad that fatal night. Any more info?

I love Buddy Holly - during nursery school we used to listen to him on the way home!! I went to see the show in London in the 1st 3 week, little did we know at that time it was going to go on for 10 years as it was only going to play for a month initially!
 
did you notice on the death certificate that Buddy Holley was carrying $198.00 in cash and the coroner took 11.95 for coroner's fees. Nothing like being charged (and paying!) after you have died!
