Major painting and renovation process going on this week and I’m almost done with my home office/game room.

@skypilot6 and @DPApilot got together about a year ago and commissioned (Well, built) this Jetcareers sign for the the 25th anniversary of our community.

Since the paint is finished, I was finally able to get the sign properly mounted and it looks great!

Unlike my “FLY DELTA JETS” sign that already had an MEL sticker on it. And it needs replacement. LOL

That was all @skypilot6 . I was just the mule. I know my place…

And I'm happy that I discovered a love of string instruments later in life. Otherwise, if I was a teenager, I would have wanted to be a rock star.

That looks nice! Never thought you were a guitar playing kinda guy. That is pretty cool.

I'm obsessed.

The Banjo is about connecting with my deceased hillbilly father.

The Ukelele is a gift from my wife

The Guitar is about learning more about chords.

The Bass Guitar is when it's time to pour a strong cocktail, stay up late and work through some "life stuff"

The Travel Guitar is what kept me sane during A350 school.

Very nice!! I really want to do something cool like this with my garage studio. Id love to mount my guitars and add some lighting. Right now is kind drab.

Hey @derg - didn't know you were into stringed instruments - you familiar with Hubby Jenkins? Caught him at WoodyFest in the summer of 2023 and I think you'd be a YUGE fan. His act was him playing guitar, banjo, uke on various songs and weaving in a whole history lesson of African music through slavery to bluegrass, country and blues. Just an amazing show. He's going to be in Austin in October and I'm thinking of driving down.
