Tell me about the Academy classes

I'm scheduled for the Oct. 20th enroute class and I was hoping some of you more experienced guys could fill us newbies in on what these classes are like. Can we expect something like a college type classroom? How many people are in a class? Do we do any simulator work? Frequent tests? Homework? What's the easiest / most difficult thing? Anything else we should know?

Thanks in advance. Any information is useful as I haven't heard much of what it's like.

My HR rep said Oct. 20th, but looking around here there's a lot of people starting Oct. 21st. Maybe she just wanted to be sure I got there early? She said my FOL should come on Oct. 2nd and would explain a lot of things more clearly.

Now that I've had more time to read through the other threads, I've definetly have picked up a lot of information.

I won't lie, I'm not going to read every post to every thread to see if someone mentioned what I'm looking for. I didn't see a search bar. I know someone mentioned there being one, but I'm not seeing anything on this page.

top right, below the ad is the log out button, move over 2 tabs, there it is, search. :)

Thank you Sir. I was in the process of developing a step by step tutorial with diagrams, but I got busy.
