Well I start my CFI Job at 5 p.m. local today (after I get off work from my "desk" job) ... should just be paperwork and whatnot but any tips/advice for the first flying job?

Excited but a little nervous too ... the actual teaching people to fly part I'm ok with, it's all the legal stuff and minutia (sic) that has me freaked. Luckily I've done all my training here (hell, the GM did my Multi-Private training) so nearly 100% of my aviation friends work here so it shouldn't be too bad. At least I hope not, anyway! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Good luck and enjoy it!

I remember my first day as a CFI like it was yesterday, what a blast!

Be careful, treat your students right, have fun and most of all, learn something new from every one of them!

Impossible for me to say it better than that. Enjoy!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Arizona .... we have a Senecca at the school but all my time is in an Apache (Father, brother and I own the Apache). I have to see what it's going to take to get into the Senecca (aside from the FAA 5 hour rule) because I'm slightly unique when it comes to multi-time. We'll see.

Oh and thanks all ... I'll post a de-brief tomorrow or in a few days. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
