The subject says it all guys! Got sworn in today, to be a crew chief on KC-135's with the 157th ARW. Been hanging around this base since i was 14, always wanted to do this. I plan to go to college (100 % tuition btw!) while part timing with them, then hopefully get a pilot slot down the road. If not, i'll get to serve my country and use my 20k sign on bonus for the rest of my ratings!

Live Free or Die baby congrats, even if it is the Chair Force/Guard.

<-----NH native, I went to Pinkerton. Hampstead still send the high school kids there?

Someone beat me to the chair force jibe, so I'll just say Congratulations. And, whatever our political bents, I think I speak for everyone in saying (once again), thanks for serving.

well ok I guess i will say congrats ole boy congrats. Glad to hear it and I am still gonna work a spot for ya.

Thanks Matty Boy! Chair force....good one :] I would LOVE to go full time, NH has been very busy the past years keeping the air bridge to the middle east alive. We got some active duty guys reinforcing us, but they have been busy. Starting to wind down a bit now, but the "Wildcats" were pulling their weight! CAN'T KICK ASS WITHOUT TANKER GAS!

Congrats and thank you for serving. Are you joining the Pease unit? I was deployed with them last year. Great group of guys. Enjoy BMT and tech school.

Ha! The big bastard! Great aircraft! You will learn much and have a vaulable experience.. Thank you also for serving. Let us know how it goes.

When you stumble while running the obstacle course at Lackland, just remember that I told you in the late 90s I got a 12 year old CAP cadet to run it.

Some of the water was deeper than he was tall.

So yeah, congrats! And thanks for serving, of course. :rawk:

Congrats!

I grew up at Pease back when they used to have FB-111s about quarter of a century ago, and I really love that base.

Good luck!

Congratulations man! I am sure you are going to have a great time. Thanks for making the decision to serve. Good luck!

Congrats! Do you know who Sgt John Kallay is? He retired a few years ago. He's my Uncle! ;)

Oh and tell Taz everyone from the 128th says "HI"! :hiya:
