Southwest Airlines Co. is planning to add international flights through a partnership with WestJet, a Canadian carrier.

Southwest and WestJet plan to announce code share flight schedules and additional features of the partnership by late 2009. Certain details of the code share and elements of the partnership are subject to approvals by both the U.S. and Canadian governments, the airlines said.

So, what aircraft are they going to fly internationally then? The 737 is not a standard aircraft for international operations.

EDIT: gah never mind, if they are staying on the continent the 737 will be just fine.
