SWA 737's

Re: SWA 737\'s

Nope. Only the 737-700, and not all of them.

The 737-200s are being SLOOOOWLY phased out, the -300 and -500s don't have winglet options from Boeing. The older -700s are being retrofitted with winglets as they get pulled off-line for routine mx, and all the new ones are shipped with the winglets.

Re: SWA 737\'s

Ahhh i would say no because on Airline! the tv show they show a shot of a 737/700 and I dont see any winglets, but the only reason I think that it is a 737/700 is because then they show a shot of the cockpit. i would check www.airliners.net and search southwest airlines.

Re: SWA 737\'s

What I want to know is why the heck WN chose to face some of the seats backwards on their planes. Luckily, I haven't had to sit in those seats yet.

...then always make sure that your in boarding group A. I have never sat in those seats either but I have heard horror stories about takeoff and how uncomfortable they are in that phase of flight!

Not sure, but I think it was popular in the 70s and 80s. The newer -700s don't have it, and when the interiors get re-done on the -700s and -300s, they're taking it out.
