Summer Internship at Port Authority of NY and NJ-please help

Hey guys. I may want to get an internship at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey this summer, and hopefully work in the aviation department or at Newark Airport. Here's a link:

Here is a little background info about me if that helps.

I'm going to graduate community college this January with an Associates Business Administration degree.

I currently have a 3.6 GPA

I'm transferring over to SUNY Farmingdale in January for the Spring 2012 semester to study BS in Aviation Administration.

I have some background in aviation.


Do any of you work for or intern at the Port Authority? What is it like working over there?

If anyone has experience doing internships with the Port Authority of NY and NJ, please tell me here!

Also, just wondering, does the Port Authority provide housing for interns or would I have to commute from home? My brother did a research job at his college last summer and he got housing.

i wish i can help but i MYSELF was looking into the summer internship programs. however, after reading the program and requirements, i am not qualified since i have graduate college and not currently attending school. would be a great experience if i was qualified and selected.
