Status of Application

Hi everyone....

About a week and half ago i submitted my application to Skywest online for a position that closed June 1st. Today, I checked on the website and the close date for the same position is extended to June 15th. Im wondering if I should go down to the station and ask about my application. Is this a good idea or too soon to do so? Also, does anyone have an idea how an online application system like this one works? Thanks for your responses!
 
Today was a great day!

Yesterday I saw an ad in the classified section saying, "Aircraft Refueling Technician, full-time and part-time positions avaliable, WILL TRAIN applicants interested in aviation". I couldnt believe my eyes, I was so excited, so today I called the number. The receptionist told me to come down and fill out an application. Here comes the best part, right when I got home (approx. 10min) I got a call from them wanting to schedule an interview! So, tomorrow Im going to interview for the position....I hope I get it!
 
Awesome, man. That's great. I did that for about half a year, and it was a great time. You can learn so much about aviation from it. Good luck on your interview.
