As a SkyWest employee, you will be part of an exciting team of professionals that love working in a team environment to service and repair our fleet of aircraft within a safe and efficient timeline.</span></p><p> </p><p><span>As an Operations Agent, youll also enjoy:</span></p><p> </p><ul><li><span>Shift trade flexibility</span></li><li><span>Robust training program (no prior experience needed!)</span></li><li><span>Great team atmosphere</span></li><li><span>Potential to advance and grow within the company with potential full-time or part- time availability</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span>SkyWest employees enjoy a distinctive and unmatched culture of teamwork, respect, quality, and professionalism, along with world-class benefits such as:</span></p><p> </p><ul><li><span>401(k) match</span></li><li><span>Performance Rewards and Profit Sharing </span></li><li><span>Health care - medical, dental, and vision (Full-time only)</span></li><li><span>Worldwide flight benefits for you and your family with one or more of our major airline partners </span></li></ul> <br>Primary Job Duties<br><br><ul><li><span>Develop strong working relationships and maintain excellent communication with all internal departments, stations, partner airlines, vendors, and associated agencies </span></li><li><span>Pro-actively network with Partner Airlines Operations to plan and execute strategies for aircraft parking, repositioning, irregular operation coordination, and service recovery</span></li><li><span>Attend required briefings and meetings with agents, peers, management, and contract partners</span></li><li><span>Lead the station in coordination and communication with all departments including Dispatch, Maintenance, Crew Support, etc. </span></li><li><span>Communicate positively with employees, and provide effective communication to station personnel and flight crews</span></li><li><span>Provide direction and guidance for station agents with operational plans and partner with all managers and supervisors on daily operational strategy</span></li><li><span>Coordination and utilization of information from dispatch, flight crews, customer service, ramp, maintenance, passenger planners, and tower personnel</span></li><li><span>Keep management informed of any operation irregularities and provide feedback to strengthen the operation</span></li><li><span>Serve as liaison between dispatch, major partner control centers, airport tower, and upline/downline stations regarding air traffic control and flight information for SkyWest flights</span></li><li><span>Facilitate on-time departure, report and update all controllable delays, and arbitrate flight delay code challenges based on root cause analysis </span></li><li><span>Utilize the SkyWest weight and balance tool for pre-planning purposes, monitor radar systems, and produce and update daily Flow Sheet </span></li><li><span>Plan gate assignments for inbound and outbound flights daily</span></li><li><span>Ensure compliance with all SkyWest operating standards and daily operating procedures. Including safety and security in the airline industry</span></li><li><span>Represent SkyWest Airlines professionally, travel as needed for training and meetings, perform other duties as requested</span></li></ul> <br><Strong>
