Position: Spring Intern
Division: Air Safety Foundation
Full-Time Temporary — 37.50 hours per week (AM)
Summary:
The AOPA Air Safety Foundation (ASF) is the largest and most active nonprofit organization in the United States conducting aviation safety education and research for the general aviation community.
Duties will include: -Various writing tasks, which may include: articles for publication, research analysis, online quizzes and news releases (as appropriate) -Assisting with development of online programs -Assisting with the revision of various printed and online materials -Assisting with accident data analysis -Monitor and forward incoming email regarding ASF's products and services
Qualifications:
-Instrument-rated pilot, CFI preferred -Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Must submit a writing sample) -GPA of 3.0 or higher (scale of 4.0) -Familiar with MS Office -Ability to research aviation topics online -Interest in aviation safety and the general aviation industry -Courteous and professional -Ability to adapt to changing conditions
