So I keep reading that Spirit is hiring Riddle grads with as little as 300 hrs. Anyone can confirm this? Also what is the process or how can I find out about a career fair where they will attend? I checked their website but they did not advertised any job fairs.

I don't know how the program works but yes, they are taking a few ERAU guys with low time.
 
This dosn't help...But I flew on Spirit out of Ft. Lauderdale down to Lima, Peru. Nice pilots. Did not look too young. We were in light chop going both ways. Did I mention I had a great time?
 
They picked up a buddy of mine with less than 250 TT. Its was through an agreement with Riddle, take certain classes and know the right people and get right in. I have way more than 250 and trying to do the same thing.
 
They hired one class of 8 people from Riddle that went through normal indoc but each got about 50 hours of OE. In the past they have hired former NorthWest ground instructors from UND that after putting in a year or two of teaching became line pilots. I do not think there are any plans in the pipes for more Riddle grads. The reason they were hired in the first place is people with PIC time were leaving for the Legacies, since that game is changing I'm sure Spirit will have plenty of applicants...
 
yes they are.

when I interviewed there for internship, i was talking to a new hire girl. she was a embrry riddle grad with like 200 ME.

nope. airbuses that even a student pilot can fly lol.

I actually like the airline, I wouldn't mind working for them. decent pay, nice planes, union, etc etc. the people are very nice too. I wanna try getting in the internship there again, just for general aviation experience. the chief pilot really liked me, but the base manager (who was leaving) didn't, so my friend got the job. what a mistake. he just left after like 2 months lol. I would ahve stayed
