Spirit Airlines LOB Position?

Spirit is advertising and states:

  • Ability to hold the appropriate FAA Medical Certificate, or qualify for LOB Program.

Can anyone tell me what an "LOB Program" is?

I've heard of "left on board" and FAA "lines of business" but am unfamiliar with this
term and context.

I don't know what it means; but I might be able to find out.

In what context is that presented...what job description? Because I don't see that as a requirement for a pilot position.

@Cruise I've been out on vacation. What's the feeling on Bobs video message?
By the looks of it, its only a matter of time for the A340 order. Or at least according to the closing credits.

As far as I'm concerned, Bob can shove his little video where the sun doesn't shine. Yeah, must've been foreshadowing about an impending order...4 engines = more go, right?

Given that job description I would guess Line Observation Program. I've seen it used for instructors and management people who cant hold medicals. It requires a certain number of legs in the jump seat each year.
