Spending the night at LAX

Nowhere good really if outside security. If you just want somewhere to hang out then the Tom Bradley terminal is bustling late into the night. Lots of tables and seating up by the food court. Good wireless reception if you have Boingo or another roaming service.

Otherwise, I'd suggest bidding on Priceline for a room. I usually get a 3-3.5 star for a bid of around $42-$47. With tax it is around $55 and ranges from Holiday Inn to Crowne Plaza. I would think you could get a 2 star for about $30 and that has to be better than the terminal.

Does anyone have any recommendations about good places in the LAX terminals to crash for the night?

And... the In 'n Out @ Sepuleveda and Lincoln is open really late... till 2 am or so tonight. Grab a Double-Double while you are stuck here. (and, in all seriousness, I agree with the Priceline thing... it's saved me a couple of times on the road) There's also a 24 hour Ralphs a block north of that... and if you go east there's a 24 hour Del Taco... La Tiejra and Lincoln, a half a block away from the intersection. (If you are going to do the wander around all night thing...)

The LAX Hilton honors crew rates and has an airport shuttle. Also the Best Western on Century just past the 405 has good crew rates.
