South African Airlines

Hey everyone, i'm hoping someone with a little time (and maybe some experience with this airline) can give me some help.

My girlfriend and I are trying to get to London next month for spring break. I have a lot of flight benefits (she is listed on mine as "significant other," however, not a lot of the airlines we at JetBlue have agreements with will allow significant others to fly as well.

Well, we want to get to London and Virgin won't let her go. South African WILL let her go, however, and they DO fly to London. I've been navigating their website, but can't figure out where to connect to London from.'

I know they fly to international destinations from New York and Atlanta, but I think they stop somewhere in Africa before continuing onto London which is fine by me - as long as we get there without having to pay for tickets. :)

Anyway, their website is www.flysaa.com/ and we want to leave April 9 or 10 and return on the 15th (if not the 15th, the 16th would be OK). I've spent a good amount of time at work looking at their site but can't find a route map anywhere.

Anyway, I know this is an odd request but i'm super busy and need to get this done tonight after I get home from work! If anyone is able to find a way for me to get from anywhere in the US to London (connecting anywhere, I don't care) around the 9th of April, I would be forever in your debt. :P

You can probably take SAA from ATL/JFK to Cape Town or Johannesburg, then onto LHR. That's quite a detour, but I've heard good things about SAA;)

My suggestion, if you're trying to get to London and have to fly thru Capetown, buy a ticket!

That's a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG way to fly just to save a few dollars.

I would buy a ticket if it weren't for the following:

1. I'm a full-time student
2. I work only part-time
3. I'm constantly broke from flight training/living on my own.

:)

I have heard their planes have 4 seating arrangements. First class, business class, coach and apartheid class!
