I will say (and this will drive a few folks crazy, but oh well....) that I'm getting a slightly better feeling about variety in the industry. I've got a black instrument student, a black Private student (who happens to be a new USAF 2nd LT waiting for UPT) and another black pilot that's getting refresher training from me.

I've not seen so many black pilots within a week in my life!!!
