How is skywriting done? Does the pilot get certain coordinates where he let's the smoke go?
Hi BJ skywriting is done at 8000 and higher and individual letters can be BIG [thousand of feets] visible from great distance ,wind speed and direccion are important factors.
How is done? gouldnt i love to know it!!!

If you are refering to a group of aircraft working together writing like an old matrix printer with smoke puffs,one of the airplanes has a computer that controls the release of smoke in all the airplanes in a timely fashion to write the message'iy u r thinking of the SOLO performer then is diferent for there is less time for the smoke to stay inplace,the limit seems to be writting about 8 leters before it desapears.
