My plane has a big hole in the side.

On final. Took it a little too early.

More boring desert scenery. That thing that looks like a dirt road is a Jet-A pipeline...or so they say.

Nope, it's just west of there.

I can see the Eldorado DLB from where I fly though.

I fly it down to stateline and back up for the climb.

Unless you are a pilot and you keep checking the altimeter on your way up. I jumped from 17,500 over Colorado, and we went to 17,500 before we jumped! It was awesome!

The place I worked at advertised 15,000 and that's what our customers got. 15K AGL. Unless they paid for 18K, of course.

Also depends on the plane. Twin Otter and 13,500 agl is pretty much normal, although some places will dump the tandems out on the climb at ~9,000 then climb to 13+ for the fun jumpers. Smaller plane it depends, but usually lower
