On their website, it talks about how the airline is based out of Ft Wayne, job openings are based out of Ft Wayne, IN and "various locations" but their route map has every flight based out of Washington, DC ... and not a single flight into IN.

Anyone know what happened with them? Weren't they also a US Airways Express ... did they take over for United to replace Atlantic Coast Airlines?

I know they're flying for United Express out of IAD. As far as their USAirways Express flying I'm not sure. The Saabs look pretty sweet in the new UAL colors!

They lost all their US Airways flying. Their only flying now is for United as UAX out of IAD. And that contract expires this summer. Not too sure what's going to be going on there unless United renews with them ...

Remember that an airline's headquarters and its hub(s) need not be in the same location. US Airways is headquartered in DC, for example, but their major hubs are at PHL and CLT ... and their dispatch center is in PIT. Go figure ...
