Seriously UND? "Big market for professional pilots"

Umm, did you guys really expect "The market for pilots is terrible, come to school here?" :)

They did not post ""Big market for professional pilots with 200hrs. Come to school here."

Then everybody would know they're fibbin'.
They must have a pretty good legal department, too.

Just can't get over your failures, can you?

Through failure a person learns more about themselves, for me I know now that I either want to be an Air Force pilot/officer or be an Air Traffic Controller and want nothing to do with a low paying civilian flying job. I do not need UND to accomplish either of those. My inability to get my PPL at UND was out of my own hands, with no way to make 10,000 dollars to pay for it, the only thing that makes sense it to do it for cheaper elsewhere. So in all honesty, I would not even consider it a failure; but a new beginning.

So really there is no failure to get over, I have grown however.

But keep on keepin' on fanboy. All I know is I am 100% certain I am doing the best thing for me, UND may be the right school for you; it just was not for me. Have fun in this beautiful area of the country for the rest of your college career! :rotfl:

UND needs to hire "real" dispatchers to give us students our weather and weight and balance so we don't have to do that work, oh and to file flight plans.:crazy:

Nah, UND just needs to treat its students like they are more important then a cash cow, that is all

There's a thin line between "fanboy" and "degree recipient" these days I guess. 2 more weeks.

Congrats, and make sure to enjoy your last two weeks of school. At this time next year, you will be longing for your college days again.

The new takeoff briefing coming to a UND school near you!

I loved the first comment:

" Imagine these two planning to order breakfast:
I'll sit on the northeast side of the table. You sit on the opposite side facing me. I'll open the menu, peruse the available options and order first. In the event that they are out of my preferred beverage, I'll select an alternate beverage. If my alternate is also not available, or if the silverware is dirty, I'll decide if we should select an alternate restaurant. ."

I dunno man, a successful party animal can keep the social life and party going after college easily, if youre in the right city with some actual nightlife. I'll pass on the drunk teens and vomit stained frat house carpets and trade that for a fun nightclub with worldclass sound and lights. I don't miss "college" one bit...because I see no reason to quit having fun with life! The studying got in the way of partying!!

Now if you decide to graduate -> get married -> have kids/buy house... yeah, I can see you wishing you were back in college ;-)
