Seattle Trip

Florida Man
Since school is now over I finally got time to visit my brother in Seattle. While there, I visited both Boeing's Everett factory and the Museum of Flight. It was really interesting to see the 747-8,777, and 787 in different phases of construction. The Museum of Flight was really impressive as well, and really well done. I strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Seattle. Here are some of the pictures I took along the way:

Beautiful pics. I love Seattle, looks like you had a great time. Thanks for sharing these.

Hey! You found the one day a year when Seattle has sun!

I loved living there- thanks for the flashback memories.

There's a reason why they call Seattle the 'Emerald City'. Good times.

Great shots!

After seeing these photos and framing up a good many pictures that I took while flying in and around Seattle, I'm really wanting to go fly the Q4 again.

The month of August in Seattle is quite possibly the best place to be period...many great memories from that city!

I will echo what others have said about Seattle..Sister used to live in Bremerton, so that ferry ride is very familiar...Nice pics, thanks for sharing!

Fun fact:

The Corsair in the lower right corner of the picture with all the different aircraft in it has a special history.

It was fished off the bottom of Lake Washington. Ditched there since the 40's, I believe. They brought her back up and fully restored her, front to back.

A rare thing of beauty, she is.

I lived there for a year across The water overlooking downtown in Wallingford. I'd go back in a minute. These pictures bring back alot of great memories. And the summers CAN'T be beat.

Ah home sweet home! I lived on Alki Beach Drive and every day I would wake up to that view of Seattle (the view was further east but just as beautyful)!
