Fargo Jet Center's sister company, Weather Modification, Inc. has 2 separate Cloud Seeding Pilot positions available.
Piper Seneca II
PIC position is on a seasonal summer cloud seeding project running approximately from May 16, 2016 through September 1, 2016. Pilots will be based at a project site in western North Dakota, and will fly a specially modified and equipped aircraft in and around severe summertime weather systems for the purpose of reducing damaging hail on the ground. During non-flying periods, pilots must complete required paperwork and supervise maintenance of the project aircraft and cloud seeding equipment. This position requires pilots to be on-call 24x7 throughout the duration of the project. WMI will provide training.
Required Qualifications:
• 400 hours Total Time
• 50 hours Multi-Engine
• Prior Cloud Seeding Experience Desired
• FAA Commercial Pilot License Required
• Multi-engine, Instrument ratings Required
• Current First or Second Class Medical Required
• Instrument current preferred
Cessna 340
