Seaplane Rentals

Hi

Just wondering if anybody knew of any places that rent seaplanes for solo flying.

Looking at doing some timebuilding this fall/winter and would like to do it on floats, over a week or two.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

I seem to recall a couple places up around Lake Union in Seattle, but I can't remember any names. Check this out...

If they do instruction, then they probably also have some insurance minimums for time-in-type for you to rent solo. The fact that they have a 172 and a Stinson on floats makes me think it would be reasonably priced.

There are probably some good places in Minnesota and around Spokane/Coer d'Alene, too. I'm thinking of places where there are a lot of lakes.

Try teh Google!

I know there is a couple of places out there that let you solo as long a you have 10 hours of dual min in their plane. Renting a seaplane used to be hard to come by, don't know what it's like now though.

Sounds like another niche market I should look at. :insane:
Its hard to find anything other than a spam can to rent these days.
